Are you are planning to host a party this year? Attend one of the free seminars being held during Drug Action Week and learn how to be ‘Party Wise’.

 The City of Mitcham, in partnership with the Sammy D Foundation, is hosting free ‘Party Wise’ forums. Presenters from Sammy D Foundation will be joined by representatives from SAPOL, SA Ambulance, and Drug Arm.

Parties should always be about good times whether they are held at home or out and about. If you are planning a party there are many things you can do in order to keep you and your mates safe

The ‘Party Wise seminars’ will provide information to teenagers, parents and community groups about your rights, risks and responsibilities when hosting a party. The legalities and what to do in an emergency situation, as well as how to minimise harm associated with alcohol.
