School as a Safe Environment

All students have the fundamental right to be safe at school. Harassment and bullying of any kind – whether based on race, sexuality, gender, disability, national background – and of any form, including cyber-bullying, are totally unaccepted in the school environment. All members of the school community are required to treat each other with respect and courtesy.

The school has a policy of zero tolerance in relation to violent behaviour. Students involved in threats or acts of physical violence will be either suspended or excluded from school. No student is to encourage or urge violent behaviour. All students have a responsibility to protect the safety and well-being of their fellow students.
