Extra Curricular
Unley High School offers a large range of extra-curricular activities for students to participate in;
Sport: We offer a large range of sports for students including, Football, Soccer, netball, Basketball, Volleyball, Touch Football, Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, swimming as well as surfing, handball, ten pin bowling and ultimate Frisbee.
Rocket League: An exciting e-Sport that combines soccer with driving in an unbelievable physics based multi-player game. Unley High School currently boasts the National Champions amongst our students.
Debating: Students can participate in debating as part of the Debating SA competition.
Plain English Speaking: The Plain English Speaking Award (PESA) is a National Competition conducted through Australian Secondary Schools and Colleges. It aims to contribute to the personal development of 15-17 year old students through the enhancement of their oral communication skills and the best use of spoken English.
Duke of Edinburgh Award: The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is available to all 14–24 year olds, regardless of their background. The Award is comprised of three levels each progressively more challenging. Participants are required to complete four sections at each level: Voluntary Service, Skill, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. Gold level, participants also complete a Gold Residential Project
Craft Club: For all things crafty! participants have the option to sell their crafts at twice yearly school maker markets.
Dance Club: Get your dancing shoes on! a fun loving after school club that focuses on dance and movement.
